On his first sailing adventure to the Abacos in the Bahamas, Captain Dave Underill never realized it would turn into a love affair that is now going on 41 years. In addition to the Bahamas, his boats have taken him across the Atlantic from Portugal to the Virgin Islands, from Puerto Rico to St. Lucia, from the Turks and Caicos Islands to Belize and beyond. He enjoys swimming, learning to play guitar, and writing and has published two works of fiction (yes, about a boat captain) on e-books under the writer's name of Johnny Mayhem: VOYAGER LAWLESS and CUBA, MERMAIDS, and VOYAGER LAWLESS. His current vessel is a Lagoon 440 which reminds him that there's work to be done every day. He has not seen a mermaid... YET!
